For over 60 years, many legends have served and sacrificed their time, energy, and effort for the Calgary Croatia Sports Club and the greater Calgary Croatian community.
There are many legends - players, coaches, and board members who have helped to keep Calgary Croatia Sports Club alive for decades - join us as we celebrate and honour their commitment.
Hall of Fame Inductees
2019 Inductee: Ivica John Mustapic
2022 Inductee: Joe Musa
Joe Musa is a man we all know very well. His time with the club starts in the 1970s, where he was a storied player, coach and a notable and respected member of the Croatian community.
2022 Inductees: Drago and Barb Skukan
Drago Skukan started playing for the club when he moved to Calgary in 1977. The following year he joined the board where he spent 26 years as a board member. He played for the club until the age of 55, he also spent multiple years as a coach for our various teams.
Barb Skukan followed in Drago’s passion for the club and joined the board for almost 12 years. Both supported and fought to keep the club in good standing through highs and lows, in almost every aspect imaginable.
2023 Inductee: Stipe Buconjic
Stipe Buconjic joined the club in 1968. Before moving to Calgary he played professionally for Zagreb Locomotive. Initially being in the club as a player, and then as a coach, he brought the club to Alberta Major League in 1974. In the late 70's he was one of the founding members of the Calgary Foothills Soccer Club, which is now the largest soccer club in Calgary.
2023 Inductee: Mile Pavicic

Mile Pavicic joined the club in 1974. Before he arrived to Canada he played for the Rijeka Junior team in Croatia. After his arrival he had a brief stint with the Springer Kickers before making Calgary Croatia Sports Club his home. He would go on to be considered one of the best players to ever play for the club. Mile played for almost 30 years and in that time was a board member and coach for multiple teams.
